The Rocking Horse
this would be the second time we have visited the rocking horse the first time was awfull we were served the wrong food my sister in laws chicken was raw in the middle and we were laughed at by the sixteen year old waitress when we complained , but that was three years ago so we decided to try again and give the place the benifit of the doubt, boy were we wrong. firsly we took the tw children into the wacky warehouse play centre which was very full, there was no facilites for the under threes at all so my daughter had to be amused with a few plastic toys we had brought whilst her brother ran around,we decided to buy a few bags of crisps to keep them going before we ordered our tea, a process which took 25mins because the staff were too buisy chatting. We then proceeded to the restaurant were we found a table and asked 6 different staff for a high chair for our daughter but had to scour the restaurant our selves in the end. Myself and my partner ordered the mixed grill his well done mine rare pizza and chips for our three year old and nuggets and chips for our 16month old. We waited 45minutes then when the food came i was horrified my sons pizza was a mcains microwave pizza which looked like sludge,my mixed grill was pooled with grease the steak was well done not rare the chiken was burned and the sausage was black on the outside cold in the middle,my partners steak was so black and burned he struggled to cut it and his came without a sausage,we sent the food back and waited a further 20 minutes for a replacement order. When this came they had only replaced the meat so the chips were ice cold when we complaint to a very uninterested manageress we were told the meals were fine and they were very buisy and this could not be helped but after spending fourty pounds we begged to differ we actualy left the resurant hungry annoyed and with no refund. Whilst we were there another diner actualy cut her hand on a plate that had a huge piece missing which she had been served with her sons lunch on.
